When I received a diabetes diagnosis and didn't know where to start, I was referred to Patrick Reed at Selkirk Endocrinology. I was overwhelmed by this new diagnosis, but after one visit with Patrick I felt like my Type 1 diabetesShow more was less scary. Patrick spent a lot of time visiting with me, explaining in clear detail everything that was happening, and answering any questions I had. I have felt so encouraged by the team at Selkirk and feel like they truly have my best interest & health in mind.
Patrick is incredible! Both when our daughter was an early teen, and now that she’s a young adult. He gave her practical real life skills while teaching her to be her best advocate. His knowledge gave her the push she needed to acShow morequire the lowest A1C to date! He’s incredible and friendly. We are so thankful to be under his care. The office staff are all kind and helpful! We love the environment. It’s far from most sterile medical settings! Thanks so much for caring for our community.

Patrick and all of Selkirk do a great job. I appreciate the time and concern at each visit. Working with Patrick has provided me much better control of my diabetes, and he listens to my concerns about medications, routines, and everything else that goes along with treatment of a patient.

I recently switched my daughter to Patrick Reed and we are so happy we did. Our appointments are on time and as fast as they can be. He also is great at communicating with her in a way she can understand as a teen.

Patrick is a caring and listening caregiver. He hears my struggles and is not leaping into giving me more meds just to do it but evaluates how I am doing now and waits on me to be more stable before he increases the dose. He has been very supportive of me and initiated a hug for me at the end of the appointment. I needed that today.

Dr. Reed is one of the most empathetic and personable providers I have ever met. When I first got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I felt scared, unheard and lost. I was seeing an endocrinologist when I was first diagnosed and did not have a good experience and felt belittled. My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Reed and I have felt seen, heard, supported and celebrated ever since. Diabetes can be a lonely disease, but every time I go into Selkirk, I feel welcomed.
