The visit was great until Molly! I believe billing can be handled differently. I’m glad I experienced Molly because she led me to make major decisions about when to have my surgeries and make proper financial decisions. Dr. ScanloShow moren and his medical student were very clear and comforting.

Dr. Scanlon is a native of Jackson and completed his undergraduate studies at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. While attending Ole Miss, he spent a summer working in the operating room at Lakeland Surgical Group, where he developed an interest in surgery and meaningful, lasting relationships with some of the surgeons.
After attending Ole Miss, Dr. Scanlon went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1994. He then completed his surgical residency at the Carraway Methodist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama, in 1999.
One of the things that Dr. Scanlon finds particularly rewarding is when primary care physicians instill their trust in Lakeland Surgical Clinic, PLLC, and refer their patients to them for surgery.
Dr. Scanlon is a Diplomate of The American Board of Surgery, a Member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. Dr. Scanlon has recently been certified in Hidden Scar Breast Cancer Surgery.

Dr.Scalon has taken care of me for about a year. He truly cares about his patients and their speedy recovery. Courtney Wright, his PA, is also an essential part of the medical team. She always has a smile and takes great care of her patients.

Makes you feel important
Dr. Scanlon is the best!! Very thorough in explaining what will be done before and what was done afterward. He is extremely personable. This is the second surgery he has done for me (first gall bladder, now hiatal hernia repair) and each one has seemed like a breeze!
