These past 6 months I have been on a health journey.My health needed attention.I sat down had the hard talk with Dr.Yeakey and we game planned my Steps.I fought the good fight.It was stuff in the beginning and still is but low andShow more behold I was a able to accomplish a lot of my goals.Weight is down tremendously.Blood pressure is Good. I’m only taking Half the medication I used to be on. I’m just blown away.It all started because I made a choice and I have the right team with me.
We love the personal, "inviting" atmosphere at Kau Wellness (even after the devastation of their offices due to Hurricane Lala). Temporary facility still offered the same inviting service. Dr Yeakey is by far one of the beShow morest Family Practice Physicians we've had. He takes time & personal interest in our needs. We feel so comfortable discussing issues and know he will address them with a professional, caring interest. We highly recommend Dr. Yeakey and Kau Wellness. A God send to our community.

Ka'u Wellness is awesome. It's such a pleasure I don't have to travel Hilo or Kailua for medical needs. It would be even better if we had more services here. The staff are awesome and of course, Dr. Yeakey is the best. Excellent service and purely the best wellness center.

This was my first visit with Dr. Yeakey. I needed an appointment sooner due to stitch removal, and he was able to see me in a timely fashion. I found him to be genuine, and he answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed. It was a happy experience. :-)

I think he's pretty amazing, he also seems to listens and understands what you're trying to explain to him, and I believe it truly cares. So far extremely happy.
Dr. Yeakey is the best! I left off a star because my appointment was scheduled via text message. When I arrived, whomever scheduled it failed to get my appointment into the system. I drive an hour to get to my appointments. Initially was told I’d have to come back another day. Not good. Thankfully the person who was properly scheduled for the same time I was scheduled, had a very quick appointment and Dr. Yeakey brought me in. I’m grateful.
