I went to Dr. Kelleher after having issues with my shoulder for years. After x-rays and a MRI, he suggested surgery for a bicep tear and possibly an issue with my rotator cuff. I was only in the area for the summer, but rather thaShow moren go home to Austin to have it done, I elected—because I trusted Dr. Kelleher’s opinion—to stay in MT an extra couple mos so that he could do the surgery. (I should say that when I mentioned the possibility of having the surgery done elsewhere, he offered to help me find a good surgeon there, which made me trust him more, since it appeared that his concern was for my welfare, not my money.) I trust that doctors know infinitely more than I do about their specialties, but many doctors are always reminding you of that fact by talking down to you, explaining things to you in obscure and abstract terms, or not spending at least enough time with you to ascertain your level of fitness or overall heath. In my dealings with Dr. Kelleher, he was always straightfoward about what was going to happen in surgery and—more impressive—what could happen afterward…and how much that depended on me, my work with my PT, etc. He is not one to pretend to know exactly what is going to happen. He’s not going to make false promises, though he did tell me just before I went under for surgery that I would be back in the pool the next day. Or maybe that was the anesthesia talking? Everyone I talked to about him had only good things to say. I join the chorus and sing the man’s praises. He’s a straight-up, down-to-earth dude. I hope I never have to see him again. But if I have further issues, I would not hesitate to ask for his help.
Another informative visit for a SLAC wrist and growing pain over time. Had a back procedure in Missoula recently and Dr Kelleher thought it best to wait longer for a pain injection so as to not impede my bones fusing in the SI joiShow morent. Am grateful for this insight for something I thought was minimal. Being middle age and having a couple chronic issues has really affected my life, and getting solid opinions even if it may be cautionary is what I’m hoping for. Moving forward, my ability to return to working full time is important to me. As well as get back to outdoor sports. Have been very pleased with Alpine as they work together to treat the various injuries I’ve been dealing with. They’ve made it uncomplicated to see other colleagues for further diagnostic purposes and the insurance billing has been just as simple from the patient’s perspective. It’s a good experience to feel like Dr Kelleher and others I’ve seen in this practice have a vested interest in my progress and the frustrations that are part of chronic injuries.

Dr. Kelleher and his staff were extremely professional during my visit. My questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly. A few days after my appointment I had an additional question which was responded to promptly.
EVERY DR, TECH AND NURSE INVOLVED VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE.
Very clear and kind!
Dr. Kelleher was great. Offered me a couple of options for treatment. Gave me a shot of some kind of magic elixir and my shoulder has been pain free. I appreciate and trust him implicitly.

Was taken care of quickly with a treatment that should avoid surgery. Dr Kelleher's PA Josh is very good. Thank you!
Great people!!
Compassionate Care Minimal wait time
Excellent
Always well treated really like the PA- Josh.
I was well-cared for and my surgery was successful! The staff was professional and Dr. Kelleher performed an amazing job on my hand!
I went to see Dr Kelleher basically for a no nonsense answer to my medical issues. After 7 months of differing opinions at the other place, I needed a professional opinion as to my options. That's what you get with Dr Kelleher. He gives you your options and makes his recommendations and you decide which option you want. No pressure, just honest professional advice. He's also an excellent surgeon, coming from my personal experience.
I was able to explain my problem and had a good exam and two separate types of treatment were presented. The whole process was complete in a relatively short period.
Unfortunately, awesome as usual. Only way to improve would be offering a Season Pass.
I suppose it is too early to tell as of yet. I have yet to see Dr kelleher, but the PA seemed thorough. I'm not too happy about having to wait so long to get in to see him, as I am in quite a little pain, but I guess it can't be helped.

The team at Alpine Ortho was extremely helpful in getting me in quickly after I broke a bone in my hand. They were very professional, answered all of my questions and clearly explained my options and expected outcomes, and were kind and friendly the entire time. My procedure is now scheduled, and I'm optimistic about my recovery!
Just the usual long wait for appt (not on time). Otherwise good.
Professional and caring.
Dr. Stark is awesome!
Like the staff like the doctors
My only issue was wait time. We waited maybe 20 minutes between arrival and being called back, it my son timed it snd it was 55 minutes in the exam room between X-rays and seeing the doctor. That was a bit long! I understand that other patients may take priority, etc., but that was a bit long.
