I'm extremely happy with Dr. Sasso, as well as his staff. His staff is always very friendly, helpful and efficient. They've often gone out of their way for me to make things work. Due to multiple health issues over many years, I'vShow moree worked with many physicians and I consider Dr. Sasso one of the best. His pleasant, easy-going manner makes him very easy to talk to. He pays attention to you as a person and remembers what you say so that you feel as if you matter. He is always willing to listen to and answer any questions or concerns you may have. I've never felt like I was being rushed out of his office. And he's a man of integrity. He takes full responsibility when things don't go quite right, you're not happy about a situation or something didn't work. Even when you know it really wasn't his fault, he still shows that sense of responsibility. That's a rare quality today. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my chronic pain care.
Dr Sasso and his assistant were extremely helpful, as usual. However, the system in place for who sees the Dr next was very unfair. If there's a wait because the Dr is behind, that's never a problem. However, when a patient is theShow morere on time and six others walk in late and are taken back to the exam room immediately and actually are out the door as you're still sitting there is wrong. Apparently, it's the way the paperwork is laid out said the lovely assistant. Those who are 20 minutes late should be the ones who wait, not the person who shows up on time. I was not early, but couldn't believe what I was seeing. I had to ask the receptionist if they had forgotten about me, she said no, the others had appointments prior to mine but were late arriving. Front desk needs more organization with situations like this, it isn't right
Philip Sasso, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sasso has been a physician with SEPA Pain & Spine since its inception.
A lifelong Pennsylvanian, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internal medicine residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, his anesthesia residency at Thomas Jefferson University, and his pain management fellowship at Jefferson Pain Center.
Dr. Sasso is presently the Chairman of Anesthesia and Director of Pain Management Services at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health. He has also served as a member of various committees at Abington Hospital and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Sasso has also participated in numerous medical research projects and is a member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists.
Over his career, Dr. Sasso has employed a multimodal and empathetic approach to managing his patients' pain. Outside of the office, he enjoys time with his family, cooking, and, when time allows, an occasional round of golf or tennis.

When u pull up the office is noticeable n there is plenty of parking n the office is always clean , the wait time is quick and the bathroom r always clean Dr Sasso always spends time with his patients and answers all my questions when I have them ,my treatment is working and I always feel good when I leave
I’m very happy with my experience, I was seen at the scheduled appointment, everything was explained and I was asked if I had any concerns, procedure went smoothly and I was discharged with specific instructions.
Wonderful doctor and staff
Dr. Sasso provides exceptional care for my serious chronic medical condition. His knowledge of current as well as possible future medications and procedures ensures me that I’m receiving the highest quality care possible. Of course that means that all of the other aspects of his care are also excellent. His communications are clear and empathetic. He listens and responds carefully. He is supported by competent and pleasant office staff.

Dr. Sasso and full staff are respectful, engage with conversation, listen to concerns and answer them. Dr. Sasso walked me through my plan of care and I am grateful to have him as my spine specialist.
