Your visit first starts with the girls up front, and they are the most kindest, sweetest, respectful woman you’ll come across. Upon your call to the back for vitals they’re always caring asking how are you feeling, how’s your day Show moregoing. You can be having your worst day and staff will always make you feel welcomed like family. Mannam is awesome! I’ve had many drs in my lifetime and not one who’s ever taken time to ask me not only health wise but ask me how I’m doing. I’m human I have days where I’m down and the time Mannam takes for his patients. He not only takes care of your health but he listens to you, you feel safe and comfortable expressing your concerns and worries, and life’s challenges. I’m greatful for how attentive he’s been to my health and appreciate the services I’ve received. I recommend Dr. Mannam for all your adult family needs.

Prashanth Mannam, MD, has over 20 years of experience as an internist and primary care provider. He offers patient-focused care to patients aged 12 and older at Mannam Medical & Wellness in the Soundview neighborhood of The Bronx in New York City.
Dr. Mannam completed his training in medicine in Madras, India. He earned his medical degree at the Madras Medical College and served his internship at the Madras Medical College General Hospital.
After spending a year honing his skills as a primary care physician at Kommalapati Nursing Home in Ongole, India, he moved to the United States, where he completed his internal medicine residency at New York’s Montefiore North Medical Center in The Bronx. He has since become a member of the American Medical Association and is board-certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Mannam commits himself to provide personalized medical care to his community. He speaks several languages fluently: English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Dr. Mannam takes his time with each patient, never rushing anyone, and answering questions thoroughly.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Mannam stays active by playing racquetball and tennis. He also enjoys world music and reading.

Staff were attentive. Waiting time was reasonable. Staff were cautious and making sure patients were sitting separated in the waiting area. Doctor was caring and understanding.
I’ve had many PCP in the past, none of them can compare to Dr Mannam. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had. Listens to everything you have to say and really cares about making you feel better.
It was different. Dr Mannam was concerned. He addressed and answered all of my concerns especially, regarding the covid19 pandemic. He gave me solutions and explained what test could be done and what the test will reveal. He gave me the option to choose. He was and always act in a professional manner.
