this was my second time going back to this specialist after dealing with severe breast pain for over a year now. I was told to return in 3 months if nothing had changed, and today I returned. i had to wait 2 hours after my allotted appointment time to see the doctor, and when I got back there, my appointment was very rushed and all I was told was to put a heating pad on my breast and if that didn’t work to come back in 3 more months. don’t waste your time, find a different service provider.
Dr. Thomas was very personable, but upon entering the exam room, she only know that I had a breast cancer tumor on my right side. She told me I didn't need chemo. I asked why she was recommending something different than the oncologist. She then asked what kind of cancer. I inform her its triple negative. She then said I would have to do chemo. I was deflated. She had not looked at any of the forms I had filled out prior to my scheduled appointment about myself, history, or pathology report.
