Dr. Bansal is simply the best! I credit her for saving my life when not one other doctors ever checked my IGg levels to find out about my immune system (5+years ago). Dr. Bansal was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She completed her undergraduate and medical degrees as part of a six-year combined program through Penn State University in Centre County, Pennsylvania, and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After graduation, Dr. Bansal completed an internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She excelled in the program, earning board certification in both specialties. She is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and allergy and immunology.
Dr. Bansal is a fellow and former president of the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology. She was elected to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) Board of Directors in 2022. She is the immediate former AAAAI Chairperson of the Practice Management Workshop and Communications Oversight Task Force, a Member of the AAAAI COVID-19 Task Force, Prior Authorization Task Force, Women’s Health A/I Committee, Health Disparities Task Force, mentor for the AAAAI Leadership Institute, and abstract reviewer for the AAAAI. She is a state delegate for the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology House of Delegates, on their Practice Management Committee, and a reviewer for the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Bansal has also been honored with the Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award for 2021 and 2022.

Dr. Bansal may be the best doctor I've ever seen in my life. I've been trying to heal from chronic illness symptoms and, after seeing her, I feel more hopeful than I have in a very long time. She may be the only or one of the only doctors in the Chicago suburbs who can properly treat potential mast cell activation syndrome.

I am so sick with a surprise case of covid and a sinus infection. The staff did everything in their powers to get me seen, even through a video call. Dr. Bansal and Marie were so helpful and kind, I can barely convey my gratitude. Even after only one night, I am ever so much better. Definitely a practice worth going to.

Except for the long wait, Dr. Bansal and her staff were great! Very professional and concerned. Dr. Bansal completely changed my current asthma routine. Within 3 days I felt much better! I really appreciated her personal manner, like talking with a friend. I would highly recommend her to others suffering from asthma and allergies!
