Dr. Khalil was absolutely lovely. She took the time to explain things to me and presents as very warm and caring. The office staff could use some improvement however. I was given an appointment in the Holmdel office and when I aShow morerrive there I found the office dark and shortly afterwards the alarms started to sound. I promptly called the office number only to be told that they were in their Old Bridge office today and when I offered to call the police because the alarms are going off they said they already had spoken with them. To their credit they did allow me to come right over to the old bridge office and be seen. The papers they gave me to fill out had somebody else’s name on them. When my visit was finished the receptionist made a point of telling me that I didn’t even have an appointment that day. I showed her the reminder email that I received from the office indicating that I did in fact have an appointment that day at the Holmdel office. She told me their schedule showed me having an appointment on September 7. When I got home and checked my calendar I saw that that was true, But I really thought it was unnecessary for her to tell me I didn’t have an appointment today particularly after everything I had going through going to the office they told me to go to and having to deal with an empty office and alarms going off.
From the front reception (Sue) to the Lad they were all wonderful. I saw Nurse Practitioner Kim. She was gentle, informative and fast. She answered all my questions and wanted to get me “fixed up” as soon as possible. So glad I foShow moreund Dr. Khalil office.
Rahab Khalil, MD, founded Women's Medical Connection in 2005 to provide personalized obstetrics and gynecological care to the women in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Dr. Khalil began her premedical and graduate medical education at Cairo University’s School of Medicine in Egypt where she obtained her bachelor’s of medicine and surgery degrees. Upon completion, Dr. Khalil moved to Newark, New Jersey where she continued her medical training in general surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology at Newark Beth Israel and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch where she was chief resident.
After finishing her residency, Dr. Khalil opened Women's Medical Connection to provide comprehensive medical care for women in all stages of life from adolescence through post-menopause. At her clinic, women can find services that address all of their unique healthcare needs from gynecological issues or pregnancy and obstetric care to hormonal changes associated with menopause. To help women look and feel their best, Dr. Khalil also offers weight-loss support and aesthetic services like chemical peels, Botox®, and Juvederm®.
In addition to being an experienced OB/GYN, Dr. Khalil also has training in both critical care research and surgery. She’s dedicated her career to bringing high-quality, efficient healthcare to the women in Monmouth County, including innovative vaginal rejuvenation therapies like SeleneTouch® and robot-assisted surgical technologies that provide minimally invasive treatment options.
Dr. Khalil is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. She’s fluent in English and Arabic and conversational in Spanish. When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Khalil enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
