Dr shetty, see's my husband is a very good doctor. We like about him is that when we see him he is very patient and explains every little detail on the examinations that he did on my husband. But he staff need to be looked at verShow morey close. Not happy with the staff. They don't smell, don't greet very unprofessional. The nurse that see my husband is great too she always greets us with a smile tells my husband what she is gonna do first makes he feel less nervous.
Rajesh Shetty, MD, is the lead physician at LungDocs in Kyle and New Braunfels, Texas. He’s board-certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine and brings nearly 30 years of experience to his practice.
Dr. Shetty earned his medical degree from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre in Nerul, India. He held a rotatory internship at Rajawadi Hospital in Bombay, India, then worked in family practice before moving to the United States.
Dr. Shetty completed his residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. After his residency, he worked as an attending physician and then as the assistant director of the emergency department at Interfaith Medical Center. He was honored as the Best Physician in his department in 2004.
Dr. Shetty continued his education with two fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. The first fellowship was in pulmonary and critical care medicine, and the second was in lung transplantation. During his time at Baylor, Dr. Shetty earned several honors, including Best First Year Fellow, Best Third Year Fellow, Best Fellow in Cardio-Thoracic ICU/Private Practice, and Best Outgoing Fellow.

Dr Shetty is brilliant! With a couple of minor additions to my regimen, he increased my lung capacity of 57% to 97%. I am so grateful that he is so knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
He’s a doctor with compassion. He cares about how you feel. I took my MRI of my back and he looked it over and said he would put it in with my records to keep it on file.
You will not find a better doctor than Dr. Shetty. I have numerous doctors of various specialties, all of which are fantastic but Dr. Shetty excels in the level of care he provides. He has always gone above and beyond in the level of care he provides. Highly recommend.

Dr. Shetty is the best. He is so caring about his patients. Any questions that I have had, have been answered. My husband was a patient of his also before he passed. It’s hard to put into words but if you can get a doctors visit with him for whatever to do with the lungs you will have found your forever doctor.
I feel like Dr Shetty and his staff care about their patients. Dr. Shetty is patient and takes time to explain things, and never makes me feel like he’s rushing to get on to the next patient. I appreciate this so much because I know I am being cared for. This is rare in today’s world.

Dr. Shetty has a wonderful, calm, compassionate bedside manner that puts one at ease right away. He is very thorough in explaining medical speak to the average patient. He never rushes me or makes me feel I'm taking too much time with too many questions. He is more than patient and kind, and medically thorough. I would recommend Dr. Shetty to anyone needing a lung specialist .
