My first visit was a great experience in that clinic. For the second one, it was a little bit different. I do not know if it was because doctors were very busy or why. The girls continue being very nice same as the first time I viShow moresited the clinic. This last time Dr was very rude at the time of pulling my pants at the moment of giving me a pain shoot. His assistant was very rude also asking me to move right away out of the injection table. I asked him if I could stay even 3 minutes there bcz as a fibromyalgia patient, injection was very painful and I should take my time to move, at the least 3 minutes and assistant say: No, you can not stay there because the next patient is coming. I felt like I was treated as a cow. My feeling was that they threatened me that way because they knew I was positive on Covid-19 few weeks b4 that visit. By that moment of my 2nd visit I was negative twice in my 2 last Covid-19 test. Anyways. They never asked me. I only felt their rejection.
Have been treated by this pain clinic for going on two years. Their staff is professional and well trained. The nurses and doctors are well informed on pain management and for the first time is years I see light at the end of thatShow more pain tunnel that has been miserable. Ms. Martinez is my nurse practitioner and she is great. When I bring up a pain issue she always follows through recommending shots, imagining or other treatments. Not like other care givers I’ve had that just say oh sorry to hear that, here’s a pill. Dr. Lopez is a pure professional. I trust him totally with my pain management. On a separate note I am very happy to be a patient while West Texas Pain Management is going through their major growth, opening new offices in the west and east. I’m happy for the new clients that will be able to receive the same outstanding care I’ve received from this staff.

Nice people. 1.5 hour wait to be seen for a scheduled appointment and that’s just to get to the room where they take your blood pressure.. expect another 30-45 minutes in that room… As far as my nerve block procedure - I left more sore than i came and that pain from the procedure lasted 4-5 days after it was administered. I was also told i would he sedated and upon arrival i found out the “sedation” I took, that required me arrange a driver, was just anxiety medication that was LOWER than what I’m already prescribed which they already knew. I had done this with out seds each time and thought why not this time but it made no differnce. So disappointed Unfortunately i can not change locations, so i will cross my fingers for a better session next time. Give them the benefit of the doubt, they’re nice people just not great with scheduling and such.
