Ravneet Sandhu, MD, of Brandon Riverview Medical Associates in Brandon and Riverview, Florida, attended medical school in India before moving to the United States in 1991. She completed her internal medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital near Philadelphia and then moved to Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Ravneet Sandhu specializes in treating patients with complex medical issues such as diabetes, COPD, and weight management. As a practicing physician for more than 20 years, she has been able to diagnose many diseases that others have missed.  She always approaches treatment with an open mind and listens carefully to her patients' needs.

Dr. Ravneet Sandhu believes that empathy is the key to quality medical care. She knows that it's essential for providers to fully comprehend how the treatment will impact patients' lives. At Brandon Riverview Medical Associates, her goal is to act as her patients' advocate. She makes every effort to help her patients make informed decisions about treatment.

She feels her role as a physician is to act as a facilitator, providing up-to-date information and recommendations. At each step in the treatment process, she encourages open communication and engages her the patient in an active discussion. Her goal is to empower patients to make their own decisions and feel confident about their medical care.

Dr. Sandhu has been married to her practice partner, Dr. Jagdeep Sandhu, since 1992. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
