Dr. Raxitkumar Patel, MD,

Raxitkumar Patel, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who treats comprehensive digestive health disorders and performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, wireless capsule endoscopy, manometry testing, pH testing, and other advanced procedures, including ERCP and EUS. Dr. Patel treats patients at Desert Valley Gastroenterology in Mesa, Arizona. 

Dr. Patel completed his fellowship in gastroenterology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He received advanced training in gastrointestinal tract motility and functional bowel disorders from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Dr. Patel received awards for teaching and excellent patient care during his practice. He is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of medical advancements by regularly attending and speaking at conferences and publishing numerous articles in gastroenterology journals.

Dr. Patel has been practicing in Arizona since 2019. He has a special interest in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastrointestinal tract motility disorders, IBS, and colorectal cancer prevention.
