In my six years of practice, I have taken care of patients from different backgrounds- uninsured, low income, in homeless shelters, and from diverse immigrant communities. Taking time to know and understand their specific issues, concerns and goals is essential to realizing their goals. Regardless of one's economic, social, or cultural background, every patient receives the same respect and attention. I have learned to include the patient in all decisions about their health, and working with them to create a plan of care that is both effective and sustainable for optimum health outcomes. I am equally dedicated to serving those who have been stigmatized in society- LGBTQ, minorities, women, HIV/AIDS patients, and those affected by mental health and drug addiction. I adhere to the most current evidence based treatment guidelines to excellent and competent medical care. My faith has taught me that God has a purpose and plan for everyone, including being healthy.
