Rebecca Burdi, PMHNP

Rebecca Burdi, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, whole-person mental health care at My Buoyant Health in Phoenix, Arizona. With training in both primary care and psychiatry, Rebecca takes a comprehensive approach to treatment, recognizing the close connection between physical health, emotional wellness, and everyday quality of life.

Rebecca began her nursing education at Bellarmine University in Kentucky before earning her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain University. She later completed a post-master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health through Wilkes University to further expand her ability to support patients facing emotional and mental health challenges.

Her dual certification allows her to look beyond symptoms alone and better understand how different aspects of health may be affecting a patient’s overall well-being. Rebecca works collaboratively with patients to create personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive care, lifestyle guidance, and long-term mental wellness strategies.

Rebecca’s passion for mental health care became deeply personal after becoming a mother herself. Experiencing the emotional challenges that can come with motherhood inspired her to further specialize in psychiatric care and support women and families navigating mental health concerns. She is especially passionate about creating a supportive, compassionate environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their experiences openly and without judgment.

Outside of the office, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
