Dr. Richard Abbey, PhD

Richard Abbey, PhD, is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist and the founder of Abbey Neurodynamic Center, a wellness center located in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Abbey completes neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults of all ages. He specializes in diagnosing and treating autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), traumatic brain injuries (concussions), and social communication disorders.

Dr. Abbey detects age-related problems like Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. He also has expertise in cancer, cancer treatments, stroke, epilepsy, and much more. Dr. Abbey works diligently and offers a wide array of services using the most up-to-date, advanced technology and techniques. Examples include vision training, Joovv™ red light therapy, neurofeedback, Vasper™ cooled-compression cardio, and adaptive resistance exercise (ARX).

He maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. Dr. Abbey is board-certified in neurofeedback and has written and published numerous articles and book chapters. He lectures to other medical professionals nationwide in areas of qEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback, concussions, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.
