Rick J. Smith, MD, FACS, is an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon providing cosmetic procedures in East Lansing, Michigan, and the neighboring communities. Dr. Smith graduated with a degree in chemistry from Kalamazoo College and earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He then completed his residency in general and plastic surgery at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before spending a year training with craniofacial expert Dr. Ian T. Jackson.
Dr. Smith started in practice as a cosmetic surgeon in 1993, gaining extensive experience in performing aesthetic surgeries such as facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and body contouring. My name is Debbie, I had the opportunity to talk with Rick who will be doing my surgery. Rick as well as his entire staff made me feel comfortable. Rick, the gentleman doing the surgery was very comforting. The second he walked in the doctor's room I felt more relaxed. He open the door asked how our day was going I instantly went from an 8 in nervousness to complete comfort. I know I am in good hand's with Rick., I would recommend him to anyone.!!
