I've had a good experience with Dr. Ravitz. I suffered debilitating chronic migraines starting in 2014. It took 5 neurologists before I finally found some relief and that was with a doctor at Johns Hopkins (neurologist #5 for me).Show more While I was improved, my life quality still wasn't good. Johns Hopkins doctor didn't help more so, in some degree of desperation, I just googled "migraine" in Google maps and found Dr. Ravitz's office in NY where I'm not too far from. I made virtual appointment and was prescribed Emgality. The effects were not immediate but I noticed it was definitely helping after some time. Later I started Botox injections and those have helped a bit too. My symptoms, though not gone, are much more manageable than before I met Dr. Ravitz. Thank you Dr. Ravitz! One thing to note is that sometimes it's hard to get in contact with office stuff and there's been some confusion with medication and appointments but I would still definitely recommend Dr. Ravitz.
I've been going to Dr. Ravitz for about 3 years now and she has honestly changed my life. That might sound hyperbolic, but it really is true. Before I sought her out for treatment I was having migraines and vertigo nearly every daShow morey; needless to say, I was miserable. Dr. Ravitz was immediately empathetic to my situation, helped me understand what was going on, and started working with me to figure out treatment. Now I'm at a point where I rarely get migraines and vertigo and any I do get I can manage much better than I could before. I absolutely recommend Dr. Ravitz, she's the best!

Dr. Ravitz is one of the best physicians with whom I have had the pleasure to work. She is both my neurologist, and as a physician in a related field, she is the neurologist to whom I refer my patients. She is very knowledgeable, competent, and thorough without being unnecessarily alarmist. She is particulary well-known for her expertise in headache/migraine treatment. However she is an excellent general neurologist as well. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Ravitz has that precious mix of a personable bedside manner combined with a deep knowledge of both general neurology and the subspecialty of headache medicine. As a physician, I both see her for treatment and I refer many patients to her. I have only received superlative feedback, which matches my experience as her patient as well.

Dr. Ravitz and the Modern Migraine team are caring and compassionate, coordinated, and efficient.
