Doctor was informed about the health condition I currently was experiencing. Dr. Balsiger listen to me and he was able to provide me with the results from the multiple test I had been done for my current condition and he was confiShow moredent that he would be able to help me get a more detailed report from performing another verve conductivity test! Along with me continuing to be referred to a Cardiovascular surgeon for additional test to determine the outcome of how to treat my health condition. I felt very comfortable and confident that I was now going to get to the solution for working towards restorative health and healing

Robert W. Balsiger, DO, is a local board-certified neurologist at Las Vegas Neurology Center. He has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, since 2006. He has strong ties to the Midwest growing up in Minnesota and Ohio.
Dr. Balsiger attended The Ohio State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology. He was active in the community in Columbus, Ohio, and on campus at The Ohio State University. While a full time student, he obtained a personal training certificate and was involved in geriatric exercise prescription. Dr. Balsiger was on the Dean’s List each year he attended The Ohio State University.
Following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Balsiger relocated to Henderson, Nevada. There he attended Touro University Nevada and obtained his medical degree. He was also on the Dean’s List at Touro University Nevada. He immediately recognized a need for physicians in the community. Thus, he continued his training in Las Vegas, Nevada, completing a 4 year neurology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Upon completion of residency, Dr. Balsiger continues to serve the community here in Las Vegas. He is the stroke director and director of neurology at Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center. He also has a strong passion for academic medicine. He is part of the core faculty for the neurology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center, a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Valley Hospital Medical Center, and adjunct faculty for Touro University Nevada. He enjoys spending time teaching residents and medical students in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Dr. Balsiger also provides weekly neurology board examination review and neurology lectures for the neurology residents.
Aside from practicing neurology, Dr. Balsiger enjoys weight training, watching movies and traveling.
Dr. Balsiger was awarded the Top Doctor Award for Top Neurologist 2016-2017 & Vegas Top Doctors 2020.

Very attentive and answered all my questions
I came in for siatioca, was told to wait for the office to call me for another appointment for tests to be done and then my follow up to get the results couldn’t be scheduled for another 6-7 months out because the doctors schedule is booked. I have nerve damage that is painful and am told to wait over half a year for just the results?!?! Absolutely ridiculous.

Dr is very approachable and very thorough on answering any and all questions. We are very pleased with the whole practice.
I did not see Dr. Balsiger. My appointment was for 10:30 and I did not get out of the office until 12:30. A nurse kept coming into the room to assure me that I was not forgotten but I still sat there a long time. Once the attendant came in he did a good job but waiting an hour and a half for a 15-minute exam is hard to take.
Received good care and attention from the NP, Peter. Feel confident in my treatment plan and my ultimate diagnosis after the test results are received.
The Dr was most congenial and friendly. He listened to my concerns.
Dr. B makes u feel at ease, answering any questions u may have. He does not rush out if u have more things to talk about I have had him for my doctor for12 years. He is the best!!!

He is a caring and amazing doctor. If you need to see a neurologist he is your guy. He spoke with me to develop a plan of care and he listened to my input. The office staff is absolutely amazing as well.
Dr. Balsiger went over my entire neurological history and offered great recommendations for treatment to relieve my condition. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and he seemed to really care about my issues.

Dr.balsiger and his staff were very concerned and spent quite a bit of time with me.most doctor's try to get in and out as fast as possible. The only downside was the girl on the way out, she was very rude
Doctor left earlier without anyone notifying me. I wanted to leave but the nurse said Dr. Janda will be seeing me. Waited for another 20 minutes but no one came. Went out of the room to ask and was told that the doctor had an emergency and to wait for Dr Mahajan? Bad management and wasted my one and a half hour for nothing. No one seems to be responsible for anything. They talked loud and laughed loud without checking on patients. They also gave me a piece of other patient's medical history! Nice work exposing patient's privacy to others.
Testing is a Real doctor who cares about the course of Help Healing and Recovery By getting Facts verses speculation

I was so impressed with the staff at Las Vegas Neurology. The team were so friendly and efficient, and the doctors thoroughly listened to my concerns and addressed them.
All of my concerns were addressed. Tests necessary were completed. They are VERY thorough.
Dr Balsiger and Dr Maanao have answered my questions and provided another Dr (Vickers) to look at my chart and provide a solution.
