The doctor is straight forward and has been known to actually write things down. Hes open to patient input on treatment options . You can pay direct and get the middleman out of the picture here and for that alone its a great placShow moree for people with severe pain to get treatment. I wont say too much but i have a myriad of horrible debilitating pain from an active life which can be confusing to keep track of but he always gives me a chance to get into some details which is immensely helpful and im staying active thanks to dr Bowers and his Excellent Staff. Office is pleasant and his assistants and his ANRP is excellent.
Dr Bowers, in all my medical visits over the years, listened, asked questions re my medical history, answered all my and my sons questions, talked common sense, did not try to push procedures that were unnecessary, and gave a diagShow morenosis that made sense to me. I have never felt as comfortable with a physicians as with Dr Bowers. I really felt he cared- I would highly recommend him and he never makes you, the patient, uncomfortable-

I love going to this clinic! They listen to your concerns, pay attention to your life, and adjust accordingly. My only issue is their bluing department. I’ve asked for a bill for over 1 year, and still haven’t received one!

5 stars. One of the best physician practices I have ever had. Dr. BOWERS and staff are very knowledgeable and respectful. They are always on time. I have had to have one surgery and several procedures and my pain levels are down about 30 percent, which is a miracle. I would recommend Bellview Pain and Wellness to anyone with a chronic pain issue.

Dr Bowers did a great job. A little pain at first but I feel great now. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. I have been able to sleep on my side. Haven't been able to do that for yrs. I have been able to sleep so much better. Thank you Dr Bowers

Dr Bowers knew exactly what my issues were. We discussed various treatments that were possible to help my situation. I decided to have a lumber epidural shot. Made a two day appointment and it was done very effectively I’m very pleased with our discussions and I hope it helps my aches and pains

Great staff and Dr Bowers listens and has changed my life with this pain management technique for my chronic knee pain after replacement.

Dr. Bowers (and staff) are great. He is open-minded, a great listener and actually cares about his patients’ suffering. Even though he is from New York (no one is perfect) I highly recommend him. Also, if you have a pain pump as I do, please reach out to him ASAP, since the Seattle area Pain Mgmt. doctors won’t touch that with a 10 foot pole if it is preexisting. I was within a few days of running out of meds and my pump was alarming when he saved the day and took me on as a patient. He is also tolerant of my eccentric personality and sense of humor and has a very sharp sense of humor himself. Instead of crying, laugh through the pain and let him help you. He treats all kinds of patients, in addition to pain pump patients. I have not felt this good since moving here. He is also willing to help you reduce and RX the meds you need. I personally have been able to reduce my medication at his request and I feel just as good. I’ve even been encouraged by this and tried to go lower, but my pain worsens so I am staying on my meds as is at this point. He always asks me if I need more medication, but I currently have another doctor prescribing most of my meds already. However, he was.amenable to taking them over when this doctor retires or stops prescribing them. In other words, you will not face severe judgement and condemnation there, but will instead, work out an agreed to treatment plan that you collaborate with his help. I think this is wonderful and refreshing since it is not the kind of positive experiences I had in Texas and other locations. He understands the vast difference between medication tolerance, abuse, misuse and addiction. Sadly few doctors do. Finally, they are very supportive when my wife came to my appointment with me. Having pain, particularly severe chronic pain, is horrible, but Dr. Bowers has made it easier for me to deal with. I hope anyone out there who needs a top notch pain doctor takes him into strong consideration and I only wish this was not anonymous, so that I could leave my contact information and answer any questions that I am able to. There is hope. Please don’t ever give up or give into the thoughts we all go through about whether life is worth living or not. Here you will find that hope and help whether you need a better doctor or a new one! Best wishes to everyone.
