Robert Coifman, MD

Dr. Coifman is an engineer by orientation and pre-medical training who got his mother's subliminal message that she wanted her son to be a doctor. He takes an engineering approach to problems in health care giving most patients solutions that are more effective, more efficient or both. Accomplishments include the best track record in the English language medical literature for keeping "frequent flier" asthmatics out of hospitals and emergency departments and development of the world's first effective allergy vaccine for patients who are sensitive to poison ivy.
