I Had A Fall Injuring My Right Foot & Ankle. The Swelling Was Severe, As Was The Pain. Knowing I Needed To Be Seen Immediately But Not Wanting To Go To The Emergency Room, I Called DR. LINN’s Office. From The Moment A Live Office Show morePersonnel Answered, NOT A Automated Or Voicemail System, I Felt Like I Was A Priority. A Same Day Appointment Was Made For That Afternoon. Upon Arrival The Front Desk Staff Was Friendly, As Well As, Professional And Prepared For My Appointment. They Had My Paperwork Ready To Complete, Insurance Cards & ID Were Copied, The Check In Process Was Organized And Fast. The Radiology Tech Called Me For X-rays In A Surprisingly Quick Time Frame. She Was Friendly & Professional Too. The Office Was Comfortable, Clean, Pleasant With A Beautiful Fish Tank In Lobby To Enjoy While Waiting. And DR. LINN’s Office Is Easy To Locate, As Well As, Get In And Out Of Parking. My Visit With DR. LINN Was An Overall Great Experience. He Took Time To Explain My X-Ray Results And Treatment Plan, And Encouraged My Questions, Concerns About My Foot/Ankle. DR. LINN Is Thorough, Explanatory, Includes Family Questions, And Patient Concerns, Even Going Forward , Looking At Recovery Time, And Longterm Effects From My Injury. I Will Most Certainly Recommend DR. Robert Linn Jr., DPM, is an experienced board-certified podiatrist practicing at Foot & Ankle Center of Ocala, located in Ocala, Florida. Specializing in podiatric medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Linn considers it an honor to share his skills and expertise with individuals living in and around Marion County.
Dr. Linn completed his undergraduate studies in psychology and his Master of Science in industrial/organizational psychology at the University of Central Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University (formerly the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa). Dr. Linn completed his surgical residency in reconstructive foot, ankle, and lower leg surgery at AdventHealth East Orlando (formerly Florida Hospital East Orlando). He has completed additional specialty training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, realignment and deformity correction – adult and pediatric flatfoot surgery, external and internal fixation techniques, diabetic limb salvage, and trauma surgery.
To stay up to date with the latest advances in the field of podiatry, Dr. Linn maintains professional affiliations with several organizations, including the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, and the North Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified in both reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery and foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. As a thought leader in podiatry, Dr. Linn has been published in several peer-reviewed publications, conducted several case studies, and given numerous oral presentations.
