Robert Mmereole, MD, is a board-certified family practitioner offering comprehensive medical care at his practice, Mmereole Health, in West New York, New Jersey. He welcomes new and established patients whether they need care for an acute illness or management of chronic disease. His experiences in surgery, OB/GYN, family medicine, and treating patients with burns have broadened his understanding of how each patient might feel when they walk into the office.
Dr. Mmereole started his career in chemical engineering, then decided to pursue medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. After graduating with his medical degree, he completed a transitional year internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City before entering his residency training.
Dr. Mmereole finished a family medicine residency at the State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. Having been a patient of Dr. M. Since 2022, I plan on growing old with him. He is thorough, takes his time during visits, always able to squeeze me in when I'm in need, provides zoom appointments when the circumstances of my visit allow, and most of all non-judgemental, repectful, polite and even funny.
