Robert Mmereole, MD, is a board-certified family practitioner offering comprehensive medical care at his practice, Mmereole Health, in West New York, New Jersey. He welcomes new and established patients whether they need care for an acute illness or management of chronic disease. His experiences in surgery, OB/GYN, family medicine, and treating patients with burns have broadened his understanding of how each patient might feel when they walk into the office.
Dr. Mmereole started his career in chemical engineering, then decided to pursue medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. After graduating with his medical degree, he completed a transitional year internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City before entering his residency training.
Dr. Mmereole finished a family medicine residency at the State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. The worst experience I've ever had visiting a doctor. The most unprofessional and unethical team I've ever seen. They go to extraordinary lengths to perform unnecessary tests so they can charge your insurance. That was my experience, and it's what I'm sharing. I also saw the way they treated another patient with contempt and racism, but that experience should be shared by that person, not me.
Haven’t found a primary general doctor that has been as helpful as dr. Mmereole. I was very satisfied with he’s professionalism and with my visit to him .
