About Ronald Strony, MD

Dr Ronald Strony is a career emergency physician dedicated to high quality care with a patient centric viewpoint. Dr Strony has 30 years of clinical practice experience in emergency medicine working the broad range of Level 1 trauma centers to rural critical access hospitals. He is an experienced leader and manager on local, state, and national levels, having served in roles of System Chair of Emergency Medicine in a 12 hospital system, Professor of Emergency Medicine at it's affiliated medical school, President of the Medical Staff at his prior home hospital, and President of the Pennsylvania College of Emergency Physicians. Disliking the world of corporate medicine, Dr Strony returned to his roots as a 100% bedside provider, and seeing the status of local EDs, he knew the need for an alternative to emergency/urgent care that would provide services above and beyond what normal Urgent Care centers provide - hence the birth of StrongURcare - an elevated level of Urgent Care.
