Dr. Chod’s office was very busy so I expected it to be a rushed appointment. It was the opposite, His staff were all very pleasant and on top of the process. He was very thorough and really listened to what I am experiencing. He Show moreabsolutely picked up on my anxiety and was calm and non judgmental . I am especially grateful that he presented my situation directly and did not sugar coat. I have had eye issues my entire life and have had some barbaric medical experiences. I am pleased with his assessment and recommendations. I’m happy he is going to follow up with me. I highly recommend Dr. Chod and his staff

Ross Chod, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon (or retina specialist). Dr. Chod founded Retina Specialists of Colorado in 2018 to provide Coloradans with the utmost in exceptional and compassionate retina care.
After growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Chod received his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Chod completed his ophthalmology residency at St. Louis University. From there, Dr. Chod did fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City, before moving to Colorado to start Retina Specialists of Colorado.
Throughout his education and career, Dr. Chod has been published in numerous esteemed ophthalmic journals and has presented papers on his work at national ophthalmology meetings.
When he is out of the office, Dr. Chod takes great joy in spending time with his family, including his wife and three children. He also enjoys staying active with skiing, golf, and ice hockey.

He was very very thorough, professional knowledgeable and very attentive. The staff was very kind, professional and attentive to the patients. You would be very impressed with this office. Everyone in that office was on top of their game.

Dr. Chod is doing everything possible to preserve the vision that have left,due to macular degeneration.
He should limit his patients. I saw him about 45 minutes after my appointment time. Other times it’s been longer. He’s been very nice to talk to.

Always an excessive wait time...I think schedulers could do better. Dr Chod was prompt...once I saw him! My appt. was at 10 am...the waiting room was packed, standing room only! Seemed like everyone there had a 10am appt...not too efficient!

These docs at Retina Specialists are special!! Having had MD eye injections for over 10 years now, I can report that Dr Chod and his partners are exceptional….excellent injections, follow through in regards to keeping track of each patient and caring for them. I am incredibly grateful to them all.

I trust Dr. CHOD and appreciate his expertise, his experience abd hos personal caring. However, a 2+ hour time their for 15 - 20 minutes with him seems like a lot of wasted time someplace.
