My appointment started on time. I was in three rooms during the appointment. Each technician was friendly, answered my questions, and made sure I knew was being examined. Dr Chod discussed the issues and made me feel secure. IShow more go every 3-6 months to assess a progressive issue. I know that he is awake of my fears and therefore I have less fear. I would gladly recommend Dr Chod to any of my friends with vision issues and in the market for a good retina specialist.

Ross Chod, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon (or retina specialist). Dr. Chod founded Retina Specialists of Colorado in 2018 to provide Coloradans with the utmost in exceptional and compassionate retina care.
After growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Chod received his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Chod completed his ophthalmology residency at St. Louis University. From there, Dr. Chod did fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City, before moving to Colorado to start Retina Specialists of Colorado.
Throughout his education and career, Dr. Chod has been published in numerous esteemed ophthalmic journals and has presented papers on his work at national ophthalmology meetings.
When he is out of the office, Dr. Chod takes great joy in spending time with his family, including his wife and three children. He also enjoys staying active with skiing, golf, and ice hockey.

The staff are, every one, personable & courteous. Sometimes when the office is slammed, they run a little behind, but then sometimes I run a little behind. The techs are very good about explaining what they’re seeing in my eyes & what those things mean for the future of my sight.

i love dr jansen and choy one problem is they book too many people at the same time. it takes about two hours for an appointment. the drs are great.
Dr. Cho’s is fast and painless with injections
First pt of the day and staff seemed like they were just getting in and taking care of personal things while the staff was doing my exams. Is there not an employee lounge, locker room or some type of designated area for personal belongings?

I had emergency Retina surgery mid day on Friday with Dr. Jansen, Dr. Chod got me into his busy schedule that afternoon for post op, Great bunch of staff and Doctors to work with.

This office is very professional and pleasant. The process to check in and all the exams were done proficiently. The front desk person , Nikita was great as she sent me the notes after Dr. Cho’s signed them . I highly recommend this practice . Top notch !
Dr. Chod's treatment is first class
The Dr and staff were very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I was surprised that I was very exhausted from the surgery for a couple of weeks. I hadn’t expected it to be so painful and hard for me to recover. I am 73 so maybe my age is the issue. I have waited for the full month that Dr advised it could take to get my vision cleared from the surgery. I am ready to go ahead with the procedure again to position the lens better for it to be a successful recovery of my vision.
Staff were warm and welcoming. The wait time was pleasantly short. Dr. Chod is quite personable, knowledgable, thorough and on it! I look forward to my next appointment.
