Dr. Omar received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before going on to complete her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Knoxville, TN. She completed her pediatrics training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.
Dr. Omar is passionate about working with children of all ages, with a special interest in the newborn and infancy period. As a pediatrician and a certified lactation counselor, she supports parents as they establish their feeding goals with their newborns. She enjoys creating and developing lasting relationships with patients and their families while focusing on preventative care.
Outside of work she enjoys visiting parks and trails with her husband and son, discovering local coffee shops , and reading books.
