Doctor Sharma is always pretty cool with me. I saw him the other day and we are anticipating possibly doing a ROTATOR CUFF Surgery??? I've had this Shoulder Issue for quite a while now and I just can't go on any longer like this. Show moreI'am loosing Sleep, I can't use my Right arm and I'am Right Handed. This is a BIG Issue for me and if we go through with the Surgery I am in GREAT HOPES Doc Fixes whatever is causing me this "PAIN" And Discomfort and Uselessness of my Right Arm. I just can't go on any Longer, it has disrupted my LIFE now for Quite Some Time and I Need H E L P. Dr Sharma I am Trusting will FIX anything and everything that's not right in there. Please Doc, I Just can't go any Longer like this.
I had a severe shoulder injury. I was able to get into see Dr Sharma relatively quickly. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr Sharma himself, in going through my MRI results, was informative and professional in describinShow moreg what the issue was and what needed to be done (surgery). The staff was responsive and attentive in getting surgery scheduled and taking care of related coordination activities. They also quickly responded to and answered numerous questions over the course of a few weeks prior to surgery. Throughout I thought I was getting any needed attention and information. Overall...it's been a very positive experience working with Dr Sharma and his staff.
Dr. Samir Sharma is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician. He currently practices at South Bay Orthopedic and Sports Medicine with his wife, Dr. Kavita Sharma, and a talented team of medical professionals in Campbell, California.
After being raised in Michigan, Dr. Sharma moved to Miami where he was accepted to the honors accelerated medical program at the University of Miami, Florida. He moved back to Michigan to attend the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, where he graduated with a top of the class distinction. During his orthopedic surgery residency there, he worked under Dr. Robert Teitge, a team physician for the Detroit Pistons.
Dr. Sharma completed a sports medicine externship at the University of Pittsburgh under Christopher Harner and Freddie Fu, before finishing his residency at the Detroit Medical Center. He concluded a fellowship at Tahoe Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Carson City, Nevada, working alongside team physicians for the US Ski and Snowboarding team.
Active in his field, Dr. Sharma is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the California Orthopedic Association, the California Medical Association, and the Santa Clara County Medical Association.
In 2014 and 2015, Dr. Sharma was also the head team physician for the San Jose Sabercats — several of the skilled players he operated on led the team to the 2015 Arena Bowl Championship. Dr. Sharma has also been affiliated with Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California, since 2009.
Dr. Sharma is the proud father of two and enjoys spending time with his family when he isn’t assisting patients. He encourages and supports patients in pursuing good health, healing, and recovery through maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle in all phases of their lives.

I had the second knee surgery with Dr Samir Sharma. Dr Kavita Sharma saw me before and after the surgery. Both of them are very kind and take everything seriously and professionally. Everything went very well and I would recommend them to anybody without any concern.
The staff was pleasant and friendly and fairly prompte with paper work for me. Dr. Sharma came in, friendly and buisnesslike. His examination was fairly quick and he wrote an order for an MRI & XRay. I was instructed to make a followup appointment in a month and I was out the door within 30 minutes. No muss. No fuss.

I am still waiting for Simon med imaging to find my referral They told that it was possible sent to there Los Gatos office today I have called them 3 times and I get transferred to there appointment scheduling and they have reiterated they do not have the referral Yesterday I was called by your office at 3:30 in the afternoon saying that they had received the fax of the referral. They’re telling me they don’t know who I am.
