Sandy Ziegler, AGPCNP-C, is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She brings more than 25 years of nursing experience to her patients at Gorman Medical, PC, in Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek, Colorado.
Sandy began her medical career at Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs and graduated with her Associate of Applied Science in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for nearly 20 years before returning to school.
Sandy earned her Master of Science in nursing, management, and organizational leadership from American Sentinel University in Denver, Colorado. She continued her education at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and graduated as a nurse practitioner with a specialty in adult-gerontology primary care.
Along with her board certification, Sandy holds Medical-Surgical Nursing certification, DEA Controlled Substance Registration certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Sandy strives to deliver a high level of care at Gorman Medical, PC. She provides comprehensive primary and pain management care, working closely with patients and their families to find the best treatment for their unique needs.
On the weekends, Sandy enjoys spending time with her family, taking long bike rides, and doing home renovation projects.

Was a few minutes late and their policy is to reschedule. However I live about 30 minutes away to 40 minutes away from them and they end up fitting me in knowing that I was unable to reschedule with them next week. Always very kind prompt and on time. Appreciate with them dealing with me and my sixth schedule love the whole team family environment

Sandy is the single best primary care provider I’ve been to my entire adult life. She was incredibly attentive, helpful, and respectful. Gorman in itself was a wonderful facility to be in. Everyone was friendly, kind, patient, and helpful. At no point did I feel rushed to get out or like I wasn’t being listened to. Honestly a wonderful experience. 10/10.
