Award-winning podiatrist Sanjay Gandhi, DPM, is the founder and primary podiatrist at A Step Up Podiatry, LLC, in Manalapan Township, New Jersey. Dr. Gandhi believes in partnering with his patients, so he gives everyone the tools and information they need to make informed decisions about their foot and ankle health. He treats many conditions, including bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, warts, and other heel and ankle problems with gentle warmth and compassion.
Dr. Gandhi always uses state-of-the-art techniques, and he also stays at the forefront of the podiatry field through continuing education. To make foot and ankle care convenient for all, Dr. Gandhi offers in-office X-rays, vascular testing, and nerve testing. In addition to effective treatments, Dr. Gandhi also provides preventive care, including his fall prevention program for the elderly.
Dr. Gandhi earned his bachelor’s degree in just three years at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He went on to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, where he earned his DPM degree. Dr. Gandhi completed his podiatric medicine residency at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. During his residency, Dr. Gandhi completed rotations at leading medical institutions, including The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
At A Step Up Podiatry, Dr. Gandhi and his team always treat patients like family. Both patients and other professionals recognize Dr. Gandhi’s superior skill in the foot and ankle medicine arena.
