Dr. Saqib Khan, the Medical Director and the primary physician of Pain Medicine Inc is an Anesthesiologist specializing in Pain Management. He is a family man with four children, two of whom are physicians. He established his interventional practice in the Lakeland area over a quarter of a century ago.
Dr. Saqib Khan, medical school in 1986 and is one of the first physicians in the country to be triple board-certified. He currently holds board certification by the American Board of Specialties in the field of anesthesia, critical care and Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Khan completed his surgical training at the Medical College of Ohio, Surgical & Anesthesiology at Stonybrook New York, Acute & Chronic Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at New York Medical College, and Critical Care Fellowship at USF.

I showed up for my appointment and when I went in to talk to the doctor, it was strange. He came in the room and said he has reviewed my case. That was strange because I have never talked to him in my life. He asked me a question and as I was answering he just started talking into his phone. He didn’t even let me finish my sentence. I have severe restless leg syndrome which causes bad cramps, I have issues with both knees and both hands but all he heard was the right knee. Again, he doesn’t listen. He then proceeded to schedule me for an MRI. When Advanced Diagnostics called me to set the appointment, all they talked about was the right knee. That isn’t even the bad knee. Again, he doesn’t listen. I was told my co-pay would be $600.00. I assume the other knee would be the same. Then there is the issue with my hands. I have 2 of them as well. Probably another $1200.00. Then there is the issue of the restless legs and anyone that thinks that isn’t a pain issue has obviously never suffered from it. This guy is going to have me $3000.00 in the whole before a treatment is administered. He didn’t care at all about my concerns. Did I mention that he doesn’t listen to the patients. When he was talking into his phone after interrupting me he was getting it wrong. I had to interrupt him and tell him that isn’t what I said. This is by far the worst Dr. appointment I have ever had. I hope for everyone else’s wellbeing he was just having a bad day. I hope he doesn’t treat all his patients like this. Good luck to all the patients.
I Love Ms. Diana she always go out her way to fight the insurance company for me to get the proper treatment for my pain. I appreciate that!! Dr. Khan will Ask his patient do they want any tea.

This is only my 2nd visit but I feel like everyone is very approachable with questions or concerns. Doctor Khan listens and helps with how to resolve your pain. He is attentive and takes time to help and does not rush or make you feel like you’re not being heard. I’m glad I found his office

Always treated really well. Their all real sweet. Diana is great. She is a very hard worker.
Dr. Khan is one of the physicians who is always gracious, who obviously cares about the well being of his patients. Always attentive, concerned, sensitive to patient needs, professional yet unlike many others, he listens before intervening. It would be a major loss for me to be without his professional expertise.
Dr Khan was compassionate and he was very interested in what I had to say he has been an excellent doctor the whole time I've been under his care.
Everything was great except check-in. The person at the desk was overwhelmed. Possibly need more help at the desk when a large number of guests are checking in. The wait was over an hour. After I went to the room I was out in 10 minutes. Your staff is great!
