I’ve been a patient of Drs Botero & Khan for several years. I could not ask for a more compassionate and professional practice. They offer alternatives to opioid painkillers that actually are effective at controlling chronic pain.Show more In addition to the two doctors on staff, they also have a physician’s aaaistant, Diana, who patients can see when they just need refills on medications. This makes the appointments much shorter than if everyone needed to see the doctor. Diana is a ray of sunshine and really does know her stuff. But the best thing about this practice is the support staff. From the front desk staff, to the student nurses they hire in order for them to get experience, everyone is always so friendly and compassionate. Over the years, seeing the same people every month, I’ve gotten to know many of the faces and they’ve become like friends. I’ve even started to bring them donuts when I visit as a little gesture to acknowledge their kindness I couldn’t recommend this practice any higher.
The staff was very knowledgeable and polite the wait time was very manageable and the art decor throughout the office was impeccable the doctor was very knowledgeable with other treatments other than narcotics. He was very friendlShow morey he had impeccable bedside manners and he even brings you he was made with nine different herbs the doctor brings you the tea that he makes himself never in all my times at doctor's office I experience such a great environment I give this doctor's office and his staff 500 Stars.
Dr. Saqib Khan, the Medical Director and the primary physician of Pain Medicine Inc is an Anesthesiologist specializing in Pain Management. He is a family man with four children, two of whom are physicians. He established his interventional practice in the Lakeland area over a quarter of a century ago.
Dr. Saqib Khan, medical school in 1986 and is one of the first physicians in the country to be triple board-certified. He currently holds board certification by the American Board of Specialties in the field of anesthesia, critical care and Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Khan completed his surgical training at the Medical College of Ohio, Surgical & Anesthesiology at Stonybrook New York, Acute & Chronic Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at New York Medical College, and Critical Care Fellowship at USF.

Will not return. My referring doctor sent files, images, and suggestions. Dr. Kahn acknowledged my issues but recommended because of my age- positive thinking and prayer would work best. Also used my age and being childless (nothing to do with my presenting complaints) as his rationale as to why things so be so easy. He seemed more fixated on my age and ethnicity (which he assumed) more than my medical history. Finally he said if “I want to” he would do the suggested treatment of my referring doctor. Stressed oral medications are not an option due to other medical condition. His solution was to prescribe oral pain medical. Terrible experience. Will not return as I have no confidence in him based on my first visit and would not recommend to anyone else. Two stars only because the nurse was efficient and professional.

Everyone from the front desk to the doctor, are professional, kind and caring, They take the time to listen to address your needs, They have been wonderful to me and care about the pain that I go through, I have been a patient for about three years and I’ve never had a bad experience with them, always kind and helpful

I have been going to this office for several years. They are a really great team. They work well together and you feel like part of a family when you are there.
