Dr. Sasson E. Moulavi (Dr. Sass), MD is the Medical Director of Smart for Life™ Weight Management Centers headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida and graduate of the University of Toronto where he received a degree of Doctor of Medicine. He completed post graduate training at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Moulavi has achieved Board Certification in Anti-Aging Medicine (2005- ) as well as Bariatric Medicine (2006-2014). Dr. Moulavi has completed the process for his Fellowship Certification in Bariatric Medicine, in addition to his membership in the Obesity Medicine Association. He completed the Annual Practical Approaches to the Treatment of Obesity at Harvard University and is a member of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine as well as the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. For more than 15 years he has specialized in the study and treatment of Bariatric Medicine and has trained over 100 doctors in the science behind Bariatric Medicine. Dr. Moulavi has directed the operation of multiple weight loss centers in both the United States and Canada. Prior to 1995, he practiced as a family doctor and an Emergency Room doctor in Canada. His passion is to provide a successful, simple, affordable way to reach and maintain a healthy weight while improving overall health and quality of life.
