Dr. Finlay did a very careful exam of the one problem area that Dr Kappa found in the endoscopy that she wanted a second opinion on. He gave me three options to proceed further. I decided to get the CAT scan at Lowell hospital whiShow morech should be definitive.
I was able to be seen quickly. The doctor was knowledgeable and kind. He was clear with the next steps and following up. I’m thankful I got in when I did, I am already starting to feel better.

Raised in New England, Dr. Finlay graduated from Boston University with a BS in communication. He pursued his talent in music and was the drummer of a Boston-based alternative rock bank touring the East Coast. He couldn’t ignore his calling for medicine and obtained his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He returned to Boston to complete his training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Boston Medical Center. While there, he was awarded the Jalisi award for outstanding mentorship to medical students and residents. He was also honored with the Kenneth M. Grundfast Professionalism Award, given annually to the resident who embodies the highest ideals of professionalism and ethical standards and serves as a role model for others. His clinical interests include salivary gland disorders, thyroid and parathyroid issues, sinonasal disease, head and neck cancer, and pediatric otolaryngology.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, running, and playing music. Dr. Finlay is excited to establish his practice here in the greater Lowell and Nashua areas!
