Dr. Bohannon has always been patient and understanding during my visits. His receptionist Emily however seems to be cold and not very helpful. I can recall her dropping my phone call while on hold. Also they seem to have trouble wShow moreith their call and message system because no one ever called me to follow up when they said, and I usually end up calling them and still not getting answers to my questions. Hopefully I wont have this issue now that I'm under Dr. Bohannon's care.

Opening a medical practice in Selma, AL has been a dream of Dr. Bohannon’s since he was a young cadet at Marion Military Institute just up the road. Through hard work and dedication, that dream has now become a reality. His new practice, Selma Family Care, in Selma, AL is equipped with the latest technology and filled with dedicated and compassionate employees. It is Dr. Bohannon’s goal to provide innovative, timely, accessible and appropriate care to each of his patients. He is assisted in this endeavor by his two nurse practitioners, Tammy Mason and Katie Fancher.
The providers at Selma Family Care are more than capable of handling all of the chronic medical conditions that prevail in the local area including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid problems, heart disease, asthma, acid reflux and many others. They also provide wellness counseling, dietary guidance, and preventative medical services. In addition, they are also equipped to handle any acute problems that his patients may have such as cuts, minor burns, broken bones, sprains, insect bites/stings, infections, etc.

Today was my first visit with Ellen the nurse practitioner. She was great. My wife loves her and raves about her to everyone, now I know why. Very down to earth and personable. Couldn’t ask for a better. The tech was super nice as well and very sweet! Keep it up guys.
The receptionist is always polite and willing to help. The nurses are great and return calls in a timely manner. Dr. Bohannon is awesome, he never makes you feel like you are taking up his time. He explains things so that the patient can understand what is going on with them. If you are looking for a PCP that group is great.

I would like to submit a big shout-out to Doctor Sean Bohannon and his staff!! It’s Friday afternoon and they are about to close. In walks a patient with a busted lip. They were kind enough to welcome me in and had my lip sewed up in no time! “ they are the BEST!
