Serena Hulsey

Serena, PMHNP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. With 17 years of experience as an emergency room registered nurse, followed by specialized training in psychiatric mental health, Serena brings a compassionate, calm, and understanding approach to caring for her patients.

She is passionate about creating a comfortable, judgment-free space where patients can openly share what they are going through. Serena takes the time to truly listen and get to know each person as an individual, working together to develop a treatment plan that fits their unique needs, concerns, and goals.

Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed, Serena believes that asking for help is an important first step. Her goal is for every patient to feel comfortable, respected, and involved in their care.

Outside of work, Serena enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family. She believes that maintaining balance, staying connected to the people you love, and making time for the things that bring you joy are all important parts of overall well-being.
