I arrived on time for my appointment, only to see That there was a mask required sign on the door, and the receptionist told me to the fact that I needed a mask to be seen by the doctor. Are usually carry a mask in my pocket, buShow moret had forgotten one that day. There were also no masks provided on in the office that I might use: extra ones, for example, for patients like me, who forgot their mask. I had not received notice of the mask requirement in any of my communications/reminders Sent electronically from the office. I had to leave the office, and go in search if a vendor who might be able to sell me a mask,This was a very difficult task as I am an arthritic senior adult, who uses two canes for mobility, and walking and standing are very difficult. I finally found a Target store that had a pharmacy, and had to wait in line for almost 20 minutes before they could issue the mask for me because they were only behind the counter.. Once I returned with a mask I was seen promptly, and I have to say that my experiences with the doctor and the technician and nurses was excellent once I returned. However the preceding circumstances were exasperating for me. I would suggest that if there is a mask requirement, that a notification about that fact should be put in any reminders sent out by this office to patients so they can purchase or bring their masks to the appointment. Especially for seniors with mobility problems, It is very disconcerting to arrive at an office after traveling from home with great effort to find that there is a mask requirement, And that they must either return home and come back, or run around town to try to find someone who will sell them a mask!
I'd recommend Dr. Chandrasoma, but with some reservations. I think he's probably a very skilled surgeon for many procedures, and did a good job of explaining what needed to be done and the steps involved. However, his office got oShow moreff to a bad start by leaving us waiting in the exam room for an hour with no explanation and no apology; when he did come in, he clearly hadn't reviewed her records at all. He was evasive and somewhat defensive in answering questions about his (lack of) experience with a rare procedure, and rather than acknowledging he didn't know about one symptom of my mom's condition (which would've been fine with us), he gave an entirely incorrect response. In short, he was clearly not the right match for her surgery, and I wish he would've simply referred her to someone with more specialized experience. For many surgeries, he's likely excellent.

Very informative and gave me great advice.
After a horrible experience in Emergency at Huntington Hospital, Dr Chandrasoma swooped in, gave the three nurses an appropriate dressing down and resolved the problem. I saw him again today. Following emptying my bladder and a scan it was revealed my bladder was retaining more than a litre of urine. Dr Chandrasoma gave me three options, two involving re-catherisation. After my experience at Huntington, I wanted to avoid those options. However, after considering Dr Chandrasoma’s well documented analysis of each option, I chose what he deemed was the safest — to be re-catheterised until I can be seen by a Urologist when I return from overseas. Thank you, Dr Chandrasoma, for your outstanding professionalism, your firm recommendation and your sympathetic bedside manner.

Shahin Chadrasoma is very good doctor. This was the first time I met him. I am really like the way he treats patients. He explained SNS procedure very well to me and give me advices for my bladder treatment.
