Shalynn Mahady

Shay is a Case Manager and Mental Health Professional with experience supporting individuals facing behavioral health challenges, reentry, and recovery. She holds a B.S. in Psychology with a specialty in Criminal Justice. She also completed a study abroad program in psychology expanding her global perspective on mental health care. Shay’s professional experience includes her current role as a Behavioral Case Manager at Self Theory LLC, where she works with justice-involved and high-risk populations. She provides comprehensive case management services, including crisis intervention, care coordination, and life skills support, while collaborating with outreach teams to promote community reintegration and stability. She has prior experience as a Forensic Support Specialist at a treatment center and has partnered with organizations supporting survivors of domestic violence and family reunification. Shay is passionate about providing trauma-informed, client-centered care that empowers.
