Shannon Davis, NP-C , PMHNP

Shannon Davis is an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, and emergency room nurse practitioner. Her love for mental health started in the emergency room when she noticed most of her patients were coming into the emergency room due to lack of mental health providers in the community. She graduated from Tennessee State University with her Family Nurse Practitioner and worked in the emergency department for several years. She has also worked in family practice, urgent care and as a nurse practitioner hospitalist. She also graduated from University of Pennsylvania with her Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate while also attending University of Tennessee-Knoxville Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate and graduated from both programs at the same time. Shannon has worked in addiction medicine, geriatric mental health, private practice, and ER crisis.
