About Dr. Sharon Craft, DNP

Dr. Craft is from Chicago Illinois. She is a passionate advocate for community mental health treatment. Her unique understanding of the complexities that impact individuals, families and the community that suffer mental illness is personal. She has practiced nursing professionally for more than 30 years covering multiple states. Her military family was moved to the Hampton Roads area in 1989 and working in this community helped her understand that more must be done to meet the needs of this underserved population. Dr. Craft is a doctorate prepared advance practice nurse with diverse leadership skills. She has cultivated a team of passionate professionals that bring knowledge, talent and skills to serve.
