Shelby Silvis

Shelby Silvis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency medicine. Throughout her career in emergency medicine, she has cared for people from all walks of life during some of their most difficult and traumatic moments. Those experiences reinforced her belief that mental health challenges affect everyone, which strengthens her commitment to treating the whole person by considering the many factors that influence emotional and psychological well-being. I believe mental health care should be evidence-based, collaborative and individualized. My goal is to provide patients with the knowledge, tools and support they need to make informed decisions about their mental health and work toward meaningful, lasting improvement. I value open communication and believe patients should understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and the reasoning behind each recommendation, allowing them to play an active role in their care.
