Dr. Yeargan is amazing. You might not know by his humble attitude and laid back nature, but he is one of the most knowledgeable regenerative surgeons in the country. When I was doing extensive research for a doctor to help my chroShow morenic knee pain, he was referred by people far and wide. Not only that but I was shocked when Doctors at the world-famous Steadman Clinic in Vail Colorado were singing his praises. They literally said that he would be the first person the recommend. As it turns out, he trained at the Steadman Clinic and still confers with the team there regularly. I originally went to him for a stem cell treatment on both knees. He was extremely knowledgeable and took great care to explain everything about the procedure. The day of procedure went very well and the results were amazing. I literally had zero pain for 4 years. I have gone back to Dr. Yeargan for touch up procedures and have even had my 16 year old son drive 4 hours to get a procedure on his torn patella tendon injury from soccer. I would give my highest recommendation and urge anyone thinking about regenerative medicine to call him immediately. He is a class act human and an incredible doctor.
For a two-week follow-up appointment after PRP knee treatment, I was given a full evaluation including ultra-sound and thorough conversation re residual symptoms, future expectations, goal setting for the six-week follow-up, my quShow moreestions/concerns, best practices for me at home, more. I met the PT team member to review PT do's/dont's for this stage of healing and to assure correct knee brace fit. The appointment was informative/reassuring. I highly recommend.

Great dr. very helpful.
Always a great and caring visit. Very pleased with Dr. Yeargan's expertise and how he is so helpful and explains what is going on with my health issues!!! Had a stem cell procedure done on my knee 7 years and very successful. Avoided having to have a knee replacement. Minimal recuperation time and was able to drive in 2 days. Just had shoulder stem cell on both shoulders approximately 3 weeks ago and progressing very nicely.
We're lucky to have Dr. Yeargan in Wilmington North Carolina! He is a combination of brilliant scientists and everyday All-American kid next door. His research and life's work in ortho and regenerative sports medicine are cutting a path and paving a new road for how we look at and treat joint, tendon and ligament injuries. If you're dealing with joint pain, don't feel like it's something you have to live with. He can fix you! He fixed me twice and the recovery is exponentially shorter than surgery.
Very professional, extremely knowledgeable.
