Dr. Shivani V. Tripathi is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is an active member in the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). Dr. Tripathi completed her dermatology residency training at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to joining Missouri Dermatology, Dr. Tripathi was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Washington University in St. Louis caring for high-risk skin cancer patients, providing general dermatology care, teaching and lecturing residents, and performing cosmetic and surgical procedures. She has lectured at the AAD and ASDS meetings, and has been involved in AAD and ASDS Advocacy efforts for patients and the field of dermatology. She has authored multiple academic dermatology journal articles and textbooks, and has been active in dermatologic clinical research as well.
She has an interest in surgical and cosmetic dermatology, as well as general dermatology. She is very patient focused, believing in an informed and holistic approach to medicine. Outside of the practice, Dr. Tripathi cherishes time with her husband, daughter and son. Her husband is also a physician, an Interventional Radiologist, as well as St. Louis native and an avid St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan. She feels fortunate to provide dermatologic care for her St. Louis patients and surrounding communities doing work she loves.

Kind and explained everything for I can understand.
Dr. Tripathi is very knowledgeable about what's going on, and acts on it immediately, no muss, no fuss. She does what needs to be done. Gives the information that's pertinent, and sends you on your way, with an appointment to return in 2 months. At which time, I will be told what to do with the biopsy results, whether good or bad, and the problem will be taken care of. I really like her style. And will contnue to see her every year.
Dr. Tripathi has a great bed side manner. She listens and makes sure you dont have any question.

Doesn’t take a lot of time in room, she’s in and out and the tech does most of prep work . The doc comes back in , does the job and leaves again !
