Shyma Andrews, APRN

Shyma Andrews is a board-certified Family Nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She obtained her Masters in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. 

She has over 13 years of experience that includes functional medicine practices focused on weight loss, diabetes, asthma, and thyroid conditions. Management of chronic pain conditions, trigger point therapy, women's health, primary care, infectious diseases, bio-identical hormones, platelet rich plasma, stem cell therapy for pain management, medical weight loss, sexual dysfunction, hair loss, platelet rich plasma for aesthetics and intravenous vitamin therapies.

Shyma continues to give back by mentoring nursing students both at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the clinical setting with the University of Connecticut and her Alma mater Sacred Heart.
