Yesterday (10/21/2026), @ Newport Bay Surgery Center, Dr. Todd Driver performed cataract surgery on my left Eye. I was extremely pleased with Dr Driver & staff along with the NB Staff especially Mary and Christi RN. Today, I Show moremet with OD Siuchi Suen. Again I was extremely pleased. OD Suen & Jane (assistant) were tremendous at answering all my questions. OD Suen even called me at home to tell me her discussion with Dr Driver and the answer to my question. Outstanding performance by everyone.

Very professional and thorough. Dr Driver is Paulina’s doctor and understands that she has special needs and is mentally challenged. Every time she sees a new assistant or new doctor I need to explain that she doesn’t read or knoShow morews left from right so shouldn’t this be in records so the office visit be easier?

About Siuchi Suen, OD

Siuchi Suen, O.D. is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her experience includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism), amblyopia, dry eye, red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Suen is a proud alumna from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and a minor in East Asian Studies. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2010 from the University of California Berkeley with recognition by the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Suen is excited to join the team at OC Eye Associates. Her mission is to connect, communicate and work collaboratively with her patients to ensure her patients achieve their best visual potential.
