Going in for Mohs surgery (to remove skin cancer) is never a fun thing, but my experience at MDCS could not have been any better. As one reviewer noted negatively, they do communicate electronically and send a decent amount of paShow moreperwork, but this is to get you set up on the patient portal, and Dr Amin is reachable thru the portal within 8 hours. The front desk and reception are very welcoming and helpful and the physician assistants are informative and friendly. Dr Amin, who has a great reputation in this somewhat specialized field,was the icing on the cake. He took the time to explain everything in great detail but in easy to understand terms. The procedure itself was much shorter than I imagined, and Dr Amin spoke the whole way thru it, taking away any fear or anxiety one might have when having layers of skin scraped away. The results are seen in real time, so Dr Amin can determine the right amount of work necessary. He made sure to answer any questions I had on the post operative and the staff was very good about communicating future visits I highly recommend this practice for all your dermatology needs
This visit was a follow up to my CO2 Fraxel procedure. I was concerned that the results would not meet my expectations since I did not have the symptoms that many patients have. Dr. Engelman assured me that healing was taking pShow morelace but the results take time and it was still too early to judge. She explained that I was having pain issues at the time of the procedure so she could not be as aggressive as she had wanted to be. She said she wanted me to be happy with the results, so she would repeat the procedure free of charge. However, she will give me an oral pain pill in addition to the numbing cream so I could tolerate the laser. I think she is a truly caring physician who wants her patients to be satisfied with their treatment and is willing to work with them to achieve satisfactory results.i

Lea answered all my questions and remedied my leg irrational sores via injections. I'm feeling much better and appreciate the service and congeniality that Lea demonstrates to me as her patient. I highly recommend her for dermatology flare ups, moles, I have been prescribed medications for my legs and the sores are healing nicely.
Very Good Doctor
Dr. Amin is so proficient in everything he does for his patients. He did Moh’s surgery on my nose to remove a squamous cell carcinoma and had to graft skin to cover the area after the excision. You can hardly tell anything was done!
