I just moved to the area and was looking for a Dr who could handle my multitude of health concerns. My hairdresser suggested Dr. Laza and I'm so thankful she did. In my first visit he took the time to get to know me and LISTENShow moreED! He helped me with an issue I have been trying for YEARS to get help with because my #s were within normal range. I have never felt so supported and seen by a Dr. If you're tired of typical "big medicine machine Drs", I highly recommend you see Dr Laza.
I loved that Dr Laza and his med student, Elayna, joined us in standing for our visit. We spoke about the importance of plant based nutrition and in his notes Dr L kept us on task for what to follow up from our last visit. His sumShow moremary notes arrived back to my desktop, before I did! Things were all set up at the pharmacy for pickup and it was a seamless morning. Courtney kept me on task w vital signs and collecting samples. Even a possibility of future nutrition education with Laza Internal Med!

Dr. Laza is a wonderful, attentive and caring doctor. He takes a special interest in seeing to the care of his patients, including facilitating their interactions with the wider health care system. He is amazingly accessible and responsive. Most importantly, he takes time to listen and never seems rushed or impatient. He treats the whole person, not just their symptoms.

Dr. Laza is THE BEST DOCTOR in Charlottesville! He's patient, he listens, he cares and he advises. His team is welcoming and because it is a small practice the level of personal service is excellent.
Welcoming place to visit. Attentive care from everyone in the office and Dr Laza is exceptional with his honest interest in his patients and that it doesn’t just concern the reason for the visit but he takes the time to listen.
