Stanley Rosenberg, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with decades of experience providing comprehensive eye care, with a focus on advanced cataract surgery, glaucoma, diagnosis of diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. He provides expert care to patients at Rosenberg Eye Center in Miami, Florida, with offices in Tavernier and Key West.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo before obtaining his medical degree from Rutgers University Medical School. Dr. Rosenberg completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami, and became Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He then completed a residency at the prestigious Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, after which he became Board Certified in Ophthalmology. He later completed a fellowship in refractive surgery with Charles Casebeer, M.D., a pioneer in modern refractive surgery, further expanding his expertise in vision correction procedures.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Rosenberg has remained committed to advancing the field of ophthalmology through education, research, and clinical excellence. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is also Board Certified by the American Academy of Physicians. He has served as a course instructor and lecturer on refractive surgery techniques and risk management, sharing his knowledge with physicians and medical professionals nationwide.
He was invited by the Chinese Government to teach modern cataract surgery to ophthalmologists at the Jinan Center Hospital in Jinan, China.
Dr. Rosenberg is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. It went very well
After a slew of tests for cataract surgery, Dr.Rosenberg left me with more questions than answers about the health of my eyes and decided that performing cataract surgery on me was too complicated for him and recommended I see another ophthalmologist. That referral was the only helpful advice I Ireceived after a frustrating examination.
Dr Rosenberg thoroughly went over my vision needs and provided me with a treatment plan for future needs.
Everyone was really helpful and explained all the tests they were performing and why
