Dr. Steven Melilli, D C P A

Steven Melilli, DC, is a licensed chiropractor at Melilli Chiropractic and Rehab Center in Clearwater, Florida, who’s served the community since 1996. 

Dr. Melilli focuses on pain intervention and control in the early stages of treatment, followed by in-office and at-home rehabilitative exercise programs. This approach minimizes the need for extensive treatment programs, reduces the number of office visits, lowers the overall cost of chiropractic treatment, and promotes self-reliance.

Dr. Melilli is originally from New Jersey but has lived in Clearwater since 1982. He attended Countryside High School in Clearwater and obtained an honors degree in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He then attended Life University's School of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Melilli is certified in the Cox Flexion Distraction Technique, a chiropractic specialty that reduces intradiscal pressure and helps to lessen or resolve bulging or herniated spinal discs. 

He’s also a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP), which means he’s both an expert in treating spine problems and has considerable expertise in restoring function to arm and leg joints. He has specialized knowledge on topics like articular neurology and its effect on the spinal column, the physiology of the human body, and post-traumatic spinal disorders like whiplash.

Dr. Melilli has spent time building a substantial reputation in the Clearwater community and amongst his professional colleagues.
