Susan Gause, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Susan Blair Gause is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in the treatment of mental distress such as anxiety, depression, trauma, attention deficit and bipolar disorders as well as alcohol and substance use disorders. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness encompassing the mind, body, and spirit and encourages a balanced life with time to enjoy family, friends, and recreation as well as regular exercise, good nutrition, and proper rest. Susan uses a comprehensive and collaborative approach by establishing a therapeutic relationship to understand the needs of her patients and to determine appropriate treatment. She employs a variety of therapies along with medication management to assist her patients to achieve and maintain optimal mental health. Susan is currently accepting new telehealth patients.
