Tina Mehta, DO, FACOOG, is a diligent OB/GYN who brings a compassionate bedside manner and a wealth of experience to her patients at Elite OB/GYN in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Mehta grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Arts and Sciences, where she graduated with high honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She began her medical career while an undergraduate, with summer research externships at the Cleveland Clinic of Florida in Weston and the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
Dr. Mehta continued her education at Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine, where she earned not only her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree but a Master of Business Administration degree as well. She then temporarily relocated to Michigan, where she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Botsford Hospital in Farmington through Michigan State University.
During her residency, Dr. Mehta excelled at robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and she has continued to develop this skill set in her professional career at Elite OB/GYN. She’s proficient with the MonaLisa Touch® laser and routinely performs cosmetic gynecological surgeries and minimally invasive procedures in the office, such as vaginal rejuvenation and labiaplasty. Dr. Mehta is also highly experienced with in-hospital obstetric and gynecological surgery, including working with the da Vinci® surgical system.
Dr. Mehta is affiliated with the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association, and DOCARE International.
In her free time, Dr. Mehta enjoys dancing, piano, violin, and outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, and whitewater rafting. She looks forward to welcoming new patients to Elite OB/GYN and keeping them healthy.

Dr. Mehta is so wonderful and informative! I also had a great experience with Jessica as she drew blood from me for tests. I have small veins and Dr Mehta's team made everything feel so smooth & efficient!
8:35 appt. seen by Dr. at 9:45. I told the staff at front desk that I HAD to leave by 9:45 for a work appointment. When the Dr. came in the examining room she said the staff had JUST put my file on her desk. She said she was not running late at all. Resulted in a rushed exam. (Dr. gave me the choice to reschedule but after already being there for almost 1.5 hrs. I said just continue). I'm pretty disappointed and will not return.

My appointment was scheduled for 3:05pm - not seen by doctor until 4pm because of back up appointment issues/computer issues? Almost left the appt at 4pm. Disappointed that no one came into the exam room at 3;45pm to say she was running late. My time is valuable especially since I still work.
