Dr. Talesia Beasley, PhD

Talesia Beasley, Ph.D., MA, is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate at Texas Advance Behavioral Health in Arlington, Texas. With over two decades of experience specializing in mental health, vocational rehabilitation, and counseling services, Dr. Beasley is committed to helping individuals overcome mental, emotional, and physical challenges. 

She provides comprehensive therapy to clients across all age groups, using evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. 

Dr. Beasley holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Walden University, where her research focused on strategies to assist individuals with disabilities coping with job loss. She also earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science from UT Southwestern Medical School. Her academic work and professional background emphasize improving self-esteem, coping mechanisms, and job readiness for individuals with disabilities.

Throughout her career, Dr. Beasley has served as a mental health therapist, college instructor, rehabilitation counselor, and residential manager for dual-diagnosis clients. Her diverse experience includes roles at Curis Functional Mental Health, Paul Quinn College, Zeeda's Residential Living, and The Family Place. She is a member of the National Rehabilitation Association and the Psychology National Honor Society.
